Renal cell cancer is diagnosed using a few different
                    tests
                 Following the diagnosis, a few
more tests are carried out to see whether the cancer cells have progressed to the kidney or
other organs. There are three possible routes for cancer to travel throughout the body and
reach different body areas from its original location.

The lungs, lymph nodes, liver, or bones are the areas most commonly affected by kidney
cancer. Surgery is not advised for people with metastatic cancer, particularly if the disease
has spread to multiple locations. Immunotherapy and targeted therapy are effective treatments
                    for metastatic cancer.

Surgery is the first-choice treatment option for renal cell cancer; however, it gets more
difficult to cure if the cancer has spread to an advanced stage.
